THE Professional Teacher’s Union of Zambia (PROTUZ) president, general secretary and deputy general secretary have appeared in the Lusaka Magistrates’ Court for uttering of false documents, among other charges. Vincent Kabimba Mwitumwa, Kangwa Musenga and Treegain Rhodah Ng’uni Kansembe are facing seven counts of uttering false documents, obtaining pecuniary advantage by false pretences, aiding and abetting an offence and unlawful action or proceedings against a whistleblower. When the matter came up for plea before magistrate Irene Wishimanga, Thursday, the trio denied the charges. Kansembe, the deputy general secretary, is facing four counts, Mwitumwa, the president, is facing one count while Musenga, the general secretary, is facing two counts.
