ZESCO has told the Lusaka High Court that there was no false imprisonment, assault or battery as alleged by five members of the FixZesco movement who have sued the power utility, seeking an order that they be paid aggravated and exemplary damages. Zesco has told the court that the five were not ordinary show goers or visitors, but protestors who wanted to disrupt the its business during this year’s Agricultural Show.
