CHINYEMU Primary School in Chief Mukobela’s area in Namwala District has been given a facelift through the Constituency Development Fund (CDF) after 20 years of operating in a makeshift classroom. The school, which previously only offered Early Childhood Education to Grade Four, has been extended to Grade Seven and further upgraded from community school status to a primary school. Previously, learners who completed Grade Four and needed to advance to the next grades had to walk a distance of between seven and ten kilometres to the nearest school, Lubanga Shabongwe Primary, to access education.
