ECZ Chief Electoral Officer Brown Kasaro says the main challenge in the delimitation process is that many stakeholders in the districts have demanded more constituencies than can realistically be allocated across the country. Kasaro adds that while almost all districts are demanding more than one additional constituency, such requests are not practical because the Constitution only provides for 70 new constituencies to be shared before the dissolution of Parliament.
