THE Lusaka Magistrate has found Miracle Impact church overseer Bishop John Nungwe alias John General with a case to answer in which he is accused of raping a woman. When the matter came up before Magistrate Army Masoja Chilangwa, she found him with a case to answer. Allegations into the matter are that, Nundwe, on November 22, 2023, in Lusaka, unlawfully had carnal knowledge of a Matero woman, who attends the same church, without her consent. After Nundwe denied the charge, the state commenced trial, calling various witnesses, who included the victim, her husband and others. The state later closed its case in January 2026.
