PRESIDENT Hakainde Hichilema has urged citizens not to go back to the past by voting for the opposition, saying that when a person dies and is buried, they cannot wake up until Jesus comes. Speaking when he interacted with UPND officials and adopted candidates in Kasama, Monday, President Hichilema, who spoke in Bemba, said the ngwenyas (crocodiles), in apparent reference to the former ruling PF, were at the graveyard and could never return to power. “Do not go back to the past, no. When a person dies and you go to the graveyard and bury them, can they wake up? Can that person come home and say, ‘I want to eat [dinner]’? They remain in the graveyard until Jesus comes....
