THE Human Rights Commission (HRC) has condemned the involvement of children in divisive political rhetoric, saying it raises serious concerns regarding children’s rights to protection. This follows the circulation of a video on social media showing an identifiable child using insulting and derogatory language against President-elect Hakainde Hichilema. Adult voices were also heard in the video, encouraging the child to continue insulting the Head of State.
