GOVERNMENT has disclosed that it will introduce a single-buyer model, where all gold produced in the country will be bought by one entity. In a statement, Tuesday, Ministry of Mines and Minerals Development Permanent Secretary Dr Hapenga Kabeta said the reforms would be implemented in two levels, with the first focusing on mining operations. “We’re reforming the gold sector.
