GOVERNMENT says it will closely monitor retail mealie meal prices among millers receiving maize from FRA, warning that it will restrain supply of the commodity to those found arbitrarily increasing prices. Agriculture Minister Mtolo Phiri says due to current pressure on limited stocks of maize, government has found it prudent to stop selling maize to traders through FRA, and will instead limit the supply to millers.
