POULTRY Association of Zambia (PAZ) says the high prices of maize announced by the Food Reserve Agency are pushing the cost of feed uo. In an interview, Monday, PAZ Executive Manager Dominic Chanda said feed prices had been affected by the exchange rate, maize and soya beans prices. “There are short term fluctuations that are happening to do with the dollar and the kwacha. If you remember, two weeks ago, it was close to about K20, as of now, it came back to about K19.5. These fluctuations are normal within the exchange rate.
