THE Energy Regulation Board (ERB) says it has fined 17 energy companies a total of K585,000 for breaching licence conditions, which include failure to submit financial returns and operating a service station without a licence. The entities which have been fined include; Karan Investments, Ndola Lime Company Limited, Alpha Enterprises Limited, Cashfin Zambia Limited, Chrismar Earth Moving Equipment Limited, Kapesika Petroleum and Logistics Limited, among others.
