GOVERNMENT has clarified that only 126 constituencies were funded under CDF in 2017 and 147 in 2018. And acting Local Government and Rural Development Minister Mike Mposha says the former ruling party used to give CDF in “medas”. Speaking in the National Assembly, Tuesday, Mposha said other constituencies did not receive funding in 2017 and 2018 because government prioritised disbursements to areas whose MPs were not cabinet ministers.
