ZESCO is calling for expression of interest from Independent Power Producers (IPPs) to develop up to 5MWac solar PV grid-connected micro-power plants at 60 locations across the country. The power utility company says the project seeks to harness Zambia’s abundant solar resources to generate a total of 300MW of clean renewable energy.
