ZESCO says Kariba North Bank Power Station (KNBPS) may shut down next month if the country does not get enough electricity imports to cover the anticipated power deficit which will be caused by the Maamba Energy routine maintenance, among other factors. And Zesco Spokesperson Matongo Maumbi says the mines are already on an emergency tariff plan.
