THE Zambia Revenue Authority (ZRA) has intercepted a truck carrying a 40-foot container loaded with 3,660 cases of smuggled alcoholic beverages. ZRA has also intercepted a truck carrying 1,200 units of 20 Litre buckets of cooking oil in Chongwe, with an estimated revenue loss of K300,000. In a statement, Sunday, ZRA Corporate Communications Manager Oliver Nzala said the estimated revenue loss from the intercepted alcoholic beverages was K2.8 million. “The Zambia Revenue Authority has intercepted a truck carrying a 40-foot container loaded with 3,660 cases of smuggled alcoholic beverages.
