A chef and a baker from Choppies Supermarket have been dragged to court for stealing 16 chickens, 20 Hungarian sausages and six kilograms of meat.
Obvious Mutembo and Royd Njobvu of Ibex Hill and Mtendere Compound respectively are also alleged to have stolen two five-litre containers of cooking oil and sugar altogether valued at K969,000.
They are facing charges of theft by servants and expected to take plea before Lusaka magistrate Sylvia Munyina.
The offense is alleged to have been committed on October 1,2017.
