LUSAKA businessman Sedrick Kasanda’s alleged lover Rumbidzai Chibanda has denied assaulting Hart Michele, a woman believed to be his wife’s relative. When the matter came up before Magistrate Kigan Litiya, Monday, Chibanda pleaded not guilty after the charge was read to her. Magistrate Litiya adjourned the matter to December 27, 2023 for mention and January 24, 2024, for commencement of trial. In this matter, Chibanda is charged with one count of assault occasioning bodily harm Contrary to Section 248 of the Penal Code Chapter 87 of the Laws of Zambia.
