THE Lusaka Magistrates’ Court has committed a Chinese national whose 10 dogs mauled a 13-year-old girl to the Lusaka High Court for trial. Shi Yaming, 40, a director at farm No.289a in new Kasama is charged with one count of manslaughter. When the matter came up before Magistrate Mwandu Sakala, Thursday, Yaming could not take plea as his offence was tried in the High Court. Magistrate Sakala committed the accused to the High Court for trial as the committal certificate from the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) was ready.
