THE Constitutional Court has dismissed Patriots for Economic Progress (PeP) leader Sean Tembo’s petition in which he was seeking an order that President Hakainde Hichilema’s insistence to commute almost on a daily basis from his home in New Kasama to his office at State House amounts to irresponsible use of public resources. In this matter, Tembo also wanted a declaration that the continued refusal to move to State House did not promote fair and equitable use of public resources, resulted in loss of economic productivity and unnecessary inconvenience to the general public and contravened Articles 198(b)(iii) and 198(d) of the Constitution of Zambia.
