FORMER Bank of Zambia governor Christopher Mvunga has sued APNAC Chairman Miles Sampa in the Lusaka High Court, demanding damages in the sum of K100 million for defamation of character. This is relation to a now deleted article posted on Sampa’s Facebook page titled “Former Bank Governor ordered withdraw of cash given to Faith Musonda”. The article in question alleged that Bank of Zambia officials were ordered by Mvunga before he resigned to withdraw the money from the vault, put it in special BoZ bags and take it to various safe houses in Lusaka, including Musonda’s.
