FAITH Musonda has opposed to the Anti-Corruption Commission’s application to have her properties forfeited to the State, insisting that they were legitimately acquired and are not proceeds of crime. And Musonda says the assertion that she purchased a property in Kingsland City for US$180,000 is erroneous and misleading because the transaction was not formalised due to financial constraints. In November last year, ACC applied to the Economic and Financial Crimes Court, High Court division, to have several properties allegedly belonging to Musonda forfeited to the State.
