FORMER Foreign Affairs minister Joseph Malanji has sued two tenants renting his houses in Chongwe’s Silverest Gardens, seeking an order for the payment of K115,000 in outstanding rental arrears. Meanwhile, in a letter filed as an exhibit in the Lusaka High Court Principal Registry, Henan Guoji Development stated that Malanji purchased seven houses in Chongwe’s Silverest Gardens. Malanji is seeking an order for the payment of K60,000 in outstanding rent arrears from Wiseman Zulu, and K55,000 from his second tenant, Dalington Paul Chitangi. He also wants damages for loss of income and inconvenience caused by the duo’s failure to pay rent.
