THE husband of the Matero woman, who Bishop John General allegedly raped, has told the Lusaka Magistrates’ Court that he heard the accused telling his wife not to waste his time by closing her legs. He also testified that his wife informed him that Bishop John General forced her to have sex, threatening to kill her if she refused. Meanwhile, the witness told the court that his wife paid John General K1,000 for a one-on-one meeting with him.
