THE Lusaka High Court has denied Lusaka businessman Sedrick Kasanda constitutional bail in the matter where he is charged with aggravated robbery. Particulars of the offence allege that on August 13, 2023, in Lusaka, Kasanda, jointly and whilst acting together with other persons unknown and whilst armed with an offensive weapon namely a firearm, stole USD 5,000,000 from Micheal Adel Michel Botros, the property of Botros. It is alleged that at or immediately before or after the time of the theft, the accused used or threatened to use actual violence against Micheal Adel Michel Botros to retain or obtain the stolen things.
