A STATE witness has told the Lusaka Magistrates’ Court that in 2020, the Zambia Revenue Authority (ZRA) gave a motor vehicle each to Archbishop Alick Banda, the Heart of Mercy and Derick Mpundu, which were to be sold through an internal tender. Suzyo Ng’andu, 56, a former ZRA Board secretary, told the court there was a breach in the laid down procedure of disposing off the vehicles. This is in a matter in which Kingsley Chanda is jointly charged with former ZRA director administration, Callistus Kaoma with 22 counts of wilful failure to comply with procedure relating to the manner they disposed of 22 used motor vehicles belonging to the commission and abuse of authority.
