ATTORNEY General Mulilo Kabesha has submitted to the Lusaka High Court that Frazer Moonde, who sued the state seeking K2 million in damages for defamation after allegedly being accused of committing treasonous acts by President Hakainde Hichilema, is not entitled to any compensation. Kabesha has told the court that Moonde, a UPND National Management Committee (NMC) member, did not identify the individuals who allegedly defamed him to President Hichilema. He adds that the UPND is a private entity and therefore separate from government.
