A 39-YEAR-OLD contractor of Kabanana Township has been dragged to the Lusaka Magistrates’ Court for defiling his 15-year-old step-daughter. Muyunda Kakwaya is facing three counts of defilement Contrary to Section 138 (1) of the Penal Code Chapter 87 of the Laws of Zambia. Particulars of the offence in the first count allege that Kakwaya, on an unknown date but in the first week of August, 2024, in Lusaka, did have unlawful carnal knowledge of J.K, a girl under the age of 16 years.
