THE Economic and Financial Crimes Court, High Court Division, has refused to grant two Nigerians bail pending appeal against a two-year sentence. The High Court has also denied granting a Zambian national, Lewis Chisenga, bail pending his appeal against a five-year sentence. In this matter, Adeyinka Adesola Olaoluwa and Margaret Oluwagbemisola had applied for bail pending their appeal against a conviction from the Lusaka Magistrates’ Court.
