TWO security guards have been dragged to the Lusaka Magistrates’ Court for allegedly breaking into a storeroom and stealing items worth K1,929,990. It is alleged that the two accused persons were deployed to guard Elsewedy Electric Zambia Limited premises through a security firm. The duo is believed to have worked at Elsewedy Electric Zambia Limited for six months before the alleged theft incident. Chrispin Mulando, 30, and Patrick Mubita, 25, are now charged with breaking into a building and committing a felony therein, contrary to Section 303 (a) of the Penal Code Chapter 87 of the Laws of Zambia.
