VARIOUS opposition leaders yesterday held a silent protest against the newly enacted Cybercrime law after Lusaka Senior Resident Magistrate Trevor Kasanda sentenced Munir Zulu to 18 months imprisonment with hard labour for sedition. Shortly after Zulu’s sentencing, a number of opposition leaders and activists, who included PF vice president Given Lubinda, Matero PF MP Miles Sampa, governance activist Brebner Changala, Nkandu Luo, Jean Kapata and New Heritage Party leader Chishala Kateka, among others, staged a protest against the newly enacted Cyber law.
