Junior Chipolopolo Boys this evening lifted the first ever CAF Under-20 Africa Cup of Nations after beating Senegal 2-0 in a match played at Lusaka Heroes Stadium.
Edward Chiluya and and Patson Daka found the back of the net in the first half and it was enough to see the junior national team lift the trophy.
Senegal tried to to provide competition but it was their apparent black magic which got the limelight throughout the game.
Senegalese forward, Aw was seen throwing a charm in the Zambian goal mouth, but the CAF officials were alert and chided the North Africans for invoking unnatural powers.
Zambia’s goalkeeper Mangani Banda was awarded player of the match while Patson Daka was named player of the tournament.
Zambia beat Guinea 1-0, Mali 6-1, Egypt 3-1, South Africa 1-0 before claiming the title.
