Nkana Football Club has graduated uder-20 defender Moses Nyondo from the academy to the senior team where he has signed a five-year long term contract at the club.
Nyondo was until two weeks ago a player at the Nkana Football Club academy established two years ago but made an impact since he was called to the junior Chipolopolo where he plays 90 minutes starting with the COSAFA tournament in December and the U-20 Africa cup of nations which Zambia hosted and won.
Nkana chief executive officer Mwansa said the teenage defender who played in Nkana’s pre-season friendly against Kalulushi Modern Stars agreed to sign a long term contract that will keep him at Nkana until 2021.
And Nkana have signed sensational teenage winger Lucky Bwalya from Young Buffaloes on a four year contract.
Mwansa confirmed the development in an interview saying Bwalya has signed a four-year contract at the club after satisfying coach Zeddy Saileti during the four weeks trial at Nkana stadium.
Bwalya has been a revelation in Nkana’s pre-season preparations where he scored goals during friendly games.
“He is now a Nkana player and he has signed a contract of four years. He has impressed the coach, he is really a good player, we were thinking he could be an understudy for a season but don’t be surprised if you see him playing soon because the coach says he is adapting quickly. He is definitely going to add value to the team,” he said.
