MINISTRY of Youth, Sport and Arts Permanent Secretary Chileshe Kangwa says introducing sports infrastructure in compounds will help refocus youths who have turned to alcohol and drugs. Recently, Zambia hosted the Confederation of Africa Athletics (CAA) U18 and U20 championships where it struggled with most athletes tumbling in the finals of their respective competitions. In an interview, Kangwa said junkies needed to be given an opportunity to try out athletics and be able to compete just like the current athletes were competing.
