THE Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) has appointed former United States U17 girls’ national team coach Lisa Cole as the women’s national team technical advisor ahead of the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup. Cole’s appointment follows concerns raised by football stakeholders on the need for FAZ to beef up the technical bench for the Copper Queens if they are to represent the country well at their maiden appearance at the most prominent football stage in Australia and New Zealand.
