NEWLY elected Zambia Pool Union (ZPU) president Maxwell Simukonda says his immediate task will be ensuring that the national team defends the African Championship slated for October in South Africa. Simukonda scooped the ZPU presidency polls by nine points over the weekend, while his only competitor Mulawa Mulawa managed five votes.
