NATIONAL Boxing Team Coach Wisdom Mudenda says boxers will need to participate in more international competitions next year for the country to have a chance of producing a world champion. In an exclusive interview with Goal Diggers, Mudenda said Zambia had a lot of boxers with great potential to become world champions. Mudenda however noted that failure to participate in international competitions had derailed the progress of most boxers with great potential. He said local boxers needed to be exposed to international championships to increase their exposure, which was key to the development of their careers.
