Minister of Foreign affairs Harry Kalaba has revealed that two Zambians died in the King Lion bus accident which claimed 43 lives on Wednesday.
According to a statement issued by Foreign Affairs Ministry Spokesperson Dorcas Chileshe today, the families of the deceased had since been informed.
“Minister of Foreign Affairs Hon Harry Kalaba wishes to inform the nation that two male Zambians were among the 43 people who died in the King Lion bus accident which happened last wednesday along Harare Chirundu road. The bus was was coming from Zimbabwe heading to Zambia and the accident happened around 2200 hours.several people were also injured,” stated Chileshe.
“Families of the two deceased Zambians have since been informed. Honourable Kalaba says the government is saddened by deaths and has appealed to the nation to pray for families of the deceased for divine comfort and strength during this difficult time.”
