VICE-President Inonge Wina yesterday led Mongu residents in mourning First Republican President Dr Kenneth Kaunda. Speaking during the church service, Vice-President Wina said Dr Kaunda’s greatest gift to the country was the “One Zambia, One Nation” motto and further urged Zambians to continue living by the motto. “Today as the nation mourns our beloved founding father, we are mourning yet celebrating the life of a great statesman and a patriot. The pain we feel, though excruciating, comes from having loved and being loved deeply, Dr Kaunda loved this nation and spent his entire life fighting for what he believed was ours.
