HOME Affairs and Internal Security Minister Jack Mwiimbu says government does not transport politicians or anyone to various police stations in the country. Responding to a question from Lumezi Independent member of parliament Munir Zulu on why government could not donate one of the vehicles which they used to transport politicians to different locations, to Chiengi constituency, Mwiimbu said he was not aware of anyone being transported. “We don’t transport politicians to various police stations, when there is a call out for any politician or anybody in this country, whether there is transport or no transport, you are required to report, that is the law.
