MINISTER of Youth, Sports and Arts Elvis Nkandu has expressed disappointment at the low application turnout for Youth Empowerment projects despite youths always crying out for opportunities, saying “God helps those who help themselves”. Speaking during the handover of 70 fuel tanker trucks to 70 cooperatives on loan for a period of at least two years, Nkandu said it was surprising that only 148 applied to be considered under the fuel tanker empowerment programme in the whole country.
