KATOMBOLA UPND member of parliament Clement Andeleki says people who steal public funds deserve to be hanged or slapped with longer sentences of not less than 25 years. In an interview, Monday, Andeleki, who is also chairperson of the Committee on Legal Affairs, Human Rights and Governance, said there must be capital punishment for corruption offenders because citizens were wallowing in poverty as a result of such people. “Everybody in terms of corruption who is found wanting must go for a longer sentence of not less than 25 years because it causes misery for our people.
