FORMER home affairs minister Stephen Kampyongo says the Anti-Corruption Commission over valued his properties in a bid to pit him against members of the public. On Thursday, the ACC arrested Kampyongo and his wife Wanziya Chirwa, for possession of property worth over K29 million suspected to be proceeds of crime. And on Saturday, the duo’s lawyer, Leon Lemba, said the K29 million, at which ACC valued the properties, may not be accurate as the commission charged Kampyongo and his wife separately for the same property in Eureka. “…for the landed properties, one of them is this one (pointing at the property), it is one that has been valued at K5 million plus.
