PRESIDENT Hakainde Hichilema says it’s wrong to continue subjecting children to a 50-year-old curriculum when life has evolved. Speaking during the commemoration of the World’s Children’s Day, Sunday, President Hichilema said life had evolved, therefore, the challenges of today were different from those of the past. “As your governments, we will continue to make targeted investments in re-imaging primary education, secondary education, skills provision, mentoring and creating an enabling environment for our children to acquire, amongst other things, science, mathematics skills.
