HEALTH Minister Sylvia Masebo has cautioned citizens not to be swayed by individuals claiming to have a cure for HIV, saying these are scammers after people’s money. Speaking during the launch of the 15th annual HIV/TB/Viral hepatitis technical conference, Tuesday, Masebo said should any scientifically proven cure for HIV be available, she would not hesitate to fast-track the approval locally. “Recently there have been several reports of some people claiming to have medicines that cure HIV. These individuals are asking for money from people living with HIV to buy these medicines. My fellow Zambians, as of today, we have no cure for HIV. Let us not be swayed by these individuals.
