PRESIDENT Hakainde Hichilema yesterday toured several townships in Lusaka to check on the flood situation in the areas. And the President has urged local authorities and various wings of government to work together to resolve the flood situation saying his government doesn’t want to see a country anchored on friction, pettiness, or political mileage. The Head of State who toured Kabwata, Chawama, Kanyama and Matero constituencies, was accompanied by DMMU National Coordinator Gabriel Pollen, ZAF Commander Collins Barry, Health Minister Sylvia Masebo, Infrastructure and Urban Development Minister Charles Milupi, Lusaka Mayor Chilando Chintangala, among other top government and party officials.
