THE Committee on Parastatal Bodies has heard that Zesco United Football Club Board of Directors received sitting allowances totalling K474,500, but that minutes to justify the payments have not been found. And the Committee has heard that Zesco United has been operating without a Board Charter since 2014. The latest Auditor General report has revealed that Article 12.1 of the Articles of Association for Zesco Limited stipulates that the Board of Directors should meet at least twice a year. Further, Article 12.3 stipulates that the Chairperson of the Board of Directors may, at any time, summon a meeting of the Board of Directors.
