SPEAKER of the National Assembly Nelly Mutti has urged government to re-introduce the ministry of gender in order to achieve the 50/50 gender representation target in decision making positions. Last month during a media breakfast meeting, Speaker Mutti said the removal of the ministry of gender by downsizing it into a gender department under the Vice-President’s Office had not caused any harm.
