EDUCATION Minister Douglas Syakalima says creating more classroom space amid the free education agenda is a huge task which government can’t do alone and has since called for collaborative efforts from the corporate world. Meanwhile, Zesco Limited, through its subsidiary Kafue Gorge Lower Power Development Corporation Limited, has handed over Chasunta Boarding School in Chikankata District to the government, a facility which was built alongside the Kafue Gorge Lower Power Station. Speaking when he received the school on behalf of government, Tuesday, Syakalima said the free education policy had resulted in over enrolments, shortage of classroom space and high teacher pupil ratio.
