THE National Heritage Conservation Commission (NHCC) has cautioned the general public intending to visit the Victoria Falls or any other waterfalls, against taking unnecessary risks based on social media stunt challenges. In a statement, NHCC Acting Information and Public Relations Manager Maxwell Zulu expressed concern over risky social media challenge posts showing Victoria Falls’ visitors perching on stone pillars or wooden barricades at the edge of the gorge, unconscious of their fragility. “The National Heritage Conservation Commission (NHCC) would like to caution the general public seeking to visit the Mosi-Oa-Tunya/Victoria Falls World Heritage Site and all other waterfalls in the country.
