PF lawyer Makebi Zulu has wondered why the Drug Enforcement Commission did not question Edgar Lungu for possession of property suspected to be proceeds of crime. Zulu says Lungu is willing to explain how he managed to build properties for his wife, Esther. On Thursday, DEC arrested and charged Lungu’s wife, Esther, daughter, Chiyeso, and Charles Phiri for being in possession of property reasonably suspected to be proceeds of crime.
